Our experienced team delivers quality surgical care with a demonstrated commitment to patient safety. We provide multi-specialty inpatient and outpatient services for both adults and children. 

Our world-class surgeons and medical staff, along with board-certified anesthesiologists and certified registered nurse anesthetists, specialize in pediatric, obstetric and adult anesthesia. All postoperative nurses are certified in advanced cardiac life support and stay abreast of changing technology through continued nursing education.

Robotic-assisted Surgery

Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital is the first in St. Charles County to offer robotic-assisted surgery using the da Vinci Xi Surgical System. 

Robotic-assisted technology provides surgeons with greater precision and control, and can often reduce the risk of complications and reduce recovery times. These state-of-the-art capabilities allow for more complex surgical treatments of many diseases and conditions.

Currently, Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital offers the following types of da Vinci surgeries:

  • Colorectal issues (diverticular disease, colon cancer)
  • General surgery issues (hernias, including inguinal, ventral, umbilical)
  • Urologic issues (BPH, prostate cancer, ureteropelvic junction obstruction, kidney cancer)
  • Gynecologic issues (pelvic organ prolapse, conditions needing hysterectomy)
