Gun Safety For Children

A basket of free, no-questions-asked gun locks are available to patients, families, team members and visitors in our emergency department. This is part of a system-wide program to reduce gunshot injuries in our community by making locks available in all BJC emergency rooms. Firearm injuries cause more deaths in people ages 1-24 than any other type of injury — including car accidents.
