Mission, Vision and Values
Our mission is to improve the health of the people and communities we serve.
Our vision is to be the premier hospital through the delivery of high quality, compassionate care in a positive environment.
Our values:
Passion, Respect, Integrity, Dedication and Excellence
Since opening our doors in 1980, we have strived to improve the health of the people and communities we serve.
And we do it with passion, respect, integrity, dedication and excellence.
We are an acute-care hospital licensed for 111 beds, with more than 500 physicians on staff, representing more than 30 medical and surgical specialties. We serve the people of St. Charles, Lincoln and Warren counties in an atmosphere of intimacy and friendliness, backed by a powerhouse of technology and expertise available through our link with Barnes-Jewish Hospital and the Washington University School of Medicine.
It’s world class care … close to home.
We offer full inpatient services and emergency care, staffed with ER physicians, pediatricians and intensive-care physicians 24 hours a day. Because our community has grown, so have we. Through the years, we have responded with a number of expansions and openings including:
- The addition of a bed tower, inpatient pharmacy and additional medical office space in 2009
- The opening of the Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital in 2005
- The addition of a Cardiology Center, Breast Health and Women’s Center and Outpatient Surgery and Endoscopy Center in 2004
- An expanded Emergency Department in 2001
Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital is committed to providing easy access to world-class, compassionate care for residents of the tri-county area for years to come. See our complete list of Hospital Services.
