The Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital  opened in September 2005. This partnership with Washington University School of Medicine brings world-class cancer care to St. Charles County.

Today, visitors and patients will find a medical campus undergoing the expansion necessary to keep up with St. Charles County, one of the fastest growing counties in the country. In October 2001, Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital opened an expanded Emergency Department. In 2004, the hospital completed an $18.5 million expansion which included new Cardiology and Women's centers, in addition to the Outpatient Surgery and Endoscopy Center.

The free-standing Surgery Center, on the southwest corner of the campus, features four surgical suites and three procedure rooms. Both the Women's Center  and the Cardiology Center have their own entrance and private registration areas to enhance patient convenience.

The new comprehensive Cardiology Center added a new dimension of care by expanding cardiology diagnostic and rehabilitative services, in addition to a new state-of-the-art Vascular Interventional Center. A multidisciplinary team of physicians, including interventional radiologists, cardiologists and vascular surgeons staffs the Vascular Interventional Center. The physicians perform coronary interventions, and a variety of vascular and nonvascular procedures. The center offers access to the latest procedures and technology, ensuring accurate diagnosis and intervention.

Patient and Visitor Amenities
The new main entrance features improved road access and a covered patient drop-off area. Just off the main entrance, patients and visitors will find the Chapel and Gift Shop.
