The Siteman Cancer Center is committed to making it easier for patients to receive world-class care closer to home.
To do this, we offer cancer services at satellite locations throughout Greater St. Louis.
Siteman’s St. Charles County facility is located at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital. Doctors at the freestanding building, which opened in 2005, treat about 1,000 patients a year.
Patient care at the facility is provided by Washington University medical oncologists and surgeons and BJC Medical Group radiation oncologists.
The St. Peters facility offers a full complement of support programs
, including support groups for adults with different types of cancer and children whose parents or guardians are facing the disease. Social workers and free counseling services for patients, family members and caregivers are also available.
Additionally, the center has dietitians on staff who create personalized diet and exercise plans for patients. And Washington University School of Medicine research assistants are onsite to coordinate services for patients participating in clinical studies
