The Interview Process
Applicants who meet the criteria for the position are scheduled for an interview with a recruiter. This could take as little as a few minutes to as long as two weeks depending on the type of position for which you are applying and the number of applications received.
Top candidates are selected by the recruiter to meet with the hiring manager on either the same day or on a later date as determined by the type of position for which you are applying.
Top candidates as selected by the hiring manager may then participate in a peer interview or administrative team interview. Peer or administrative team interviews are not conducted for all positions.
The best candidate is chosen from all of those who have interviewed; the recruiter calls this candidate to offer the position.
Once the position is offered and accepted, the candidate is scheduled to complete HR paperwork, including a background check, health screen and computer-based safety training.
Once the candidate has successfully completed the background check, health screen and computer based safety training, he/she is scheduled to attend the next available New Employee Orientation. The Hospital offers one daytime orientation and one evening orientation each month.
Following New Employee Orientation, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and patient care technicians are scheduled for two days of Nursing Orientation.
Inquiries regarding your status in the interview process should be made to a Human Resources staff member, not the department manager. Call Human Resources at 636.916.9409 or log on to your profile and check your Candidate Communication.
